Reconciling the Community to Christ
The church in Aylesbury was founded in 1968 by Bishop Gumms and Bishop Sterling.
Pastor A. A. Burke was appointed as the first Pastor.
There were four members and one Sunday School pupil and they worshipped at Deacon Gray's house at 129 Walton Road.
The church out grew the house and moved to Guides Hall, Beaconsfield Road.
You will never again be called the Abandoned One, nor will your land be called Deserted. But you will be called My Delight Is in You, and your land My Beloved Wife, for YAHWEH finds his delight in you and he married your land.
In 2010, the Holy Spirit gave Pastor Luna Lawrence Isaiah 62 and showed her a tree, a shop and a letter box which was the focus point to find a new place of worship for the congregation.
The mission statement that she received was,
"To make a significant change within our church and community that will impact families and social lives."
In the same scripture, the Holy Spirit revealed the name to call our ministry.
Hephzibah - which means,
MY DELIGHT IS IN HER.
